Were You Wondering What Justin Medlock Was Up To?

The New York Jets tried out three players this week, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation.

They tried out former UCLA kicker Justin Medlock, former Illinois defensive end Jerry Brown and former Northwest Mississippi Community College wide receiver Michael Lindsey.

Justin Medlock of Kansas City Chiefs, St. Louis Rams, Omaha Nighthawks, Washington Redskins, Detroit Lions, Toronto Argonauts, and Edmonton Eskimos fame.

This is your daily Justin Medlock update.

*Note: My computer went out and broke itself for a few hours today so I've been twiddling my thumbs, and not blogging, waiting for it to get fixed. Now that it's fixed, this is me stalling so I can prepare some posts this afternoon.

I hear ya

Two 5th round picks in that draft from the Dante Hall trade and it was no secret that we were taking the first kicker off the board. Just didn’t expect it to be anyone other than Crosby. Ugh!

Sure...

Just that pick specifically was painful b/c most people had Crosby as the better kicker, and it sure seemed like we took Medlock in part b/c of Peterson’s love of UCLA.

I’m not one to go back and look at every pick and talk about who you could’ve had…

A couple of years ago he was actually the best kicker in the CFL.
