Roaf wants to be remembered as Saint
I don't blame him, but he'll always be a Chief in my eyes.

Cant blame him either
Only his final 4 seasons were spent in Kansas City, compare to the 9 seasons he spent in New Orleans. The only way I would choose to be remember as Chief, if I were him, is if the Chiefs were the team he grew up as kid, cheering for.
RAC Attack!!!
If they would've just gotten an average defense
They would’ve won 3 or 4 rings with that offense. Has there ever been a better running offense?

i think that its more than the offense. the special teams was fantastic as well, and no, no dante, the wedge itself was fantastic
the sims pick will haunt this team forever.

That would explain why Marcus Allen wanted to be remember as a Chief. =p lol jk. Thats a completely diferent situation
True, good catch, can’t believe I forgot that one.
RAC Attack!!!
Wants to be remembered a Saint
But realizes he doesn’t get into the HoF this quick or maybe at all without the Chiefs and the other guys on that line.

I Think He'd Have Had A Good Shot At The HOF If He Hadn't Come Here
Someone would have picked him up and he’d have been great. And he was dominant in New Orleans. A guy with that level of talent would have shined anywhere.
As for him wanting to be remembered as a Saint, I think that’s appropriate. Not only did he play longer there, but he also played his college ball in Louisiana.
Doesn’t someone have to do two confirmed miracles before sainthood?

Well i listened to my girlfriend talk unstop for 30 minutes and listened for about 10 minutes with a 1 second attention span
Does that count as two miracles, and can I go for sainthood now?
RAC Attack!!!
allowed 2.7 to look like a HoFer
that has to count as atleast 1 miracle

Hell Derrick Blaylock looked good behind that O-line.

*Dear David Glass, as a lifelong Royals fan, I beg you to please sell the team. You have always been the problem; you will never be the solution.
i wonder if
Gonzales won a super bowl with Atalanta if he would for sure retire a Chief. I would still think so.

I think he needs to win a playoff game first.
Then maybe he will consider it

CHIEFS WILL!

My favorite Chiefs
O line game was the 56-10 beatdown of the Falcons in 2004.
We were just running two different running plays most of the latter half of the game, not even really trying to score in the 2nd half. They let Priest sit the 2nd half of the game. The O line just imposed their will on the Falcons.
That game tape should be used by coaches everywhere to teach run blocking.

Its all good
Will Shields will be our Chiefs rep next year ;)
Me and Matt Cassel just - you up, dog!
well as far as Im aware the NFL HoF doesnt really honor only 1 team per player like MLB does
Ive never been but its my understanding that the whole career is honored so the only thing Chiefs would be missing out on is a 1st game of the season celebration honoring him, but it wouldnt surprise me if the Chiefs honored him in some way as well

Interesting Trivia On Roaf I Stumbed Across
Apparently his mother was the first black woman to serve on the Arkansas Supreme Court.
My favorite memory of Road
was actually during one of those off-season linemen skills competitions they used to air on ESPN waaaay back in the day. Can’t believe owners let the players compete in these things back then. Warren Sapp won it but I’ll always remember Roaf destroying everyone in the incline bench press portion and the fact that he wore these little wire rimmed glasses during.
