A fresh month means a fresh set of approval polls. We posted Romeo Crennel's approval poll yesterday so today it's time to look at Kansas City Chiefs GM Scott Pioli.

This is Pioli's time of year as the Chiefs are preparing for both free agency and the NFL draft. The Chiefs GM scouted players at the Senior Bowl and they'll do the same later this month at the NFL Combine. Free agency starts in March.

Highlights of the month: Pioli officially hired Crennel as head coach; Kent Babb's KC Star story examined Pioli's management style, to which Pioli and owner Clark Hunt have both responded; Pioli said they want quarterback competition.

The Chiefs GM is coming off his lowest rating, 37 percent, we've recorded for him in three years of doing these monthly approval polls.
