They seem to like to let josh looney do that

I remember a specific interview with Stanzi last year pre draft from their website, as well as I think Powe and Bailey, plus looney wouldn’t shut the hell up about justin houston. They only had maybe a dozen player interviews and several of them where actually drafted.

I don't think it much of a skilled position

More of a workhorse for all the other coaches. They do a lot of the dirty work and work long, long hours.

Another thing I took from the article.

This will be the first time in the Pioli era that they’ve had an OC who didn’t also coach a position. I found that interesting. That will give Daboll a lot more freedom to coordinate the whole shebang.
