If the owner wants to win the SB, then they’ll do whatever it takes to at least get there every so often and have their shots.

True, I think some like Jerry Jones and Dan Snyder truly want to get there every year. But the problem is they think they have the talent to make all the personnel decisions right down to the FA’s that will be signed, and the players that will be drafted. And maybe even right down to the players they want to see starting? Yeah, that’s going too far the other way – cause owners are businessmen, and not competent football talent evaluators and developers.
