No tears are being shed over Mike Sherman replacing Brian Daboll as offensive coordinator; one prominent offensive player said Daboll would tell a player one thing about his role and playing time, then do something different.

sounds like the Doughboy will fit right in here

nobody knowing nothing

The only measure of true success in the NFL is the Vince Lombardi trophy. Anything less is a rationalization.

The one thing i like about him is his energy. The rest, well, we’ll see i guess.

Well see

The reaction from the fanbase here mirrors the Dolphins fanbase last year, and they had him at a 90% approval rating ending the season.

Time will tell.

Me and Matt Cassel just - you up, dog!

And yet, the Herald also drove the "pro Daboll" bus last year.

Here’s one of about four articles I found, praising his communication skills, energy, and desire to put his players in the best position for them…

http://www.miamiherald.com/2011/09/11/2400568/daboll-finally-gets-chance-to.html

All from Sept to December.

Intriguing that they’d find someone upset at Daboll after he’s gone, too. I’m not saying that the source is made-up, or that the source is even wrong. But the (offhand) comment in today’s Herald is different than what they’d said all last fall.

Kinda the opposite way the KC press acts when somebody leaves the Chiefs.

Its stories like this and the Cleveland incidents with McCoy that worry me.

I understand coaching, different tactics to motivate, all that stuff but i think that how you treat others and your word says a lot about how you are as a person. If both of those stories are true then it doesn’t give me a lot of hope for him.

I’ll give him a chance here, just like I did Haley, so we’ll see.

Insert witty yet thought provoking phrase here.

Talking up a guy to make sure he get’s the hell outta dodge? Wouldn’t be the first time. Just like Haley tied his job to Muir being OC and failed, Pioli is tying his job to hiring every single former patriot he can get his grubby little mitts on, even if they flat out suck, and he will fail at it too.

by Topchief1 on Feb 8, 2012 2:04 PM CST reply actions

I figured out the equations!

OC x Elite QB = Great OC that surely won’t fail without an elite QB

OC x average to below average QB = Terrible OC no matter what

That’s not just a theory, that is a tried and true fact!

Trust me, im a mathematician

I'm so overrated, I'm underrated.

Sounds like

Sour grapes to me. I’m not sure many people on the Dolphin’s team deserved playing time on O anyway.

by MichaelMantastic on Feb 8, 2012 2:52 PM CST reply actions

I know this is a joke,

Because the Dolphins don’t ave any prominent players.

And Yet

They were still able to kick our butts and I made the unfortunate judgement to make the trip from Springfield, hoping to see a Chiefs win.

They just got lucky.

… And Daboll used his TE’s to exploit our weak middle.

God the media sucks

no blows balls…. I don’t know of another job that literally spits out shit for a living and get’s paid decently for it. They switch opinions like woman do moods and take any one liner they can find to put out of context. I am going to stop reading sports news next I guess because I am tired of reading shit. Rant is over thank you.

chiefs fans sure love to hate media guys

Whom, of course, are obviously all hiding hidden agendas against something something

KHO, you know that's not true ...

we only hate on those who write something that conflicts with whatever it is that we believe in :-)

A lot say "we like this guy "ex. Tebow-Daboll, even though they have never proven anything.

Tebow won a playoff game at least...

While throwing for over 300 yards.
