PrintProbably the biggest Chiefs-related news of the day was Todd Haley getting hired as the Steelers' offensive coordinator. As a general Todd Haley fan, I wish him the best. I think Pittsburgh is obviously a great fit for him.

I’m glad you feel that way. But consider this… to Steelers fans (like me) this was one of the worst seasons in recent memory. We still won 12 games….it’s all good here.
If Haley can utilize our weapons on O, our old defense won’t matter.

I wasn’t a fan of the hire. But I came to my senses, and I’m going to at least give him till mid season next year before I judge.

Yep.
He was #1 on my FA wishlist last year, and he didn’t disappoint (though how he was used was often disappointing). I like him even more now, after seeing what a leader he is. That article is pretty spot on, about how he’s Pioli’s type of player, versatile on the field, as well as a great clubhouse guy.

Haley's a very good coach. He will make Pittsburgh a better team
The Chiefs were a much better team at the end of his time here than when he arrived. It wasn’t just Haley, of course, but he had guys playing MUCH better than Herm did. He’ll do the same with Pittsburgh.
