He may be on to something.

It doesn’t make much sense for the Ratskins, because they have so many holes to fill. It makes more sense for the Chiefs (and some others). Doesn’t mean the Ratskins won’t make a strong play for him, though.

He isnt gonna go to Washington

Cause he is not playing for money….he wants more SB rings….he only has a maximum of about 4 years left….it will be a struggle to make it to the playoffs each year in washington…..or in the AFC East….where ever he goes, it will be a division thats easy to win…..maybe one that was just won with an 8-8 record….

Maybe.

But players’ egos often make them think they can be the difference on even bad teams, especially when they’re really being wooed by an owner. And Manning even more so, when he sees what Indy did without him.

you may be right...

but i dont think he is that dumb….I just think that at this point, only having 1 ring…he wants to maximize his chances of getting to the playoffs each year….Washington will have the defending SB Champion NY Giants, a Philly team LOADED with talent and Dallas LOADED with talent…hell, in washington you may not EVER GET to the playoffs in the next 4 years. Also I dont think he would want to compete against Eli twice a year and knock eachother out of the playoffs………….

same with AFC East…going to Miami means fighting for division titles with NE and NYJ…if you only have 4 years to play, you dont want to miss chances at getting into the playoffs because you are the second best team in your division and some other team beat you out of a wild card spot….Also,

He'll no longer be under contract.

I don’t know why he couldn’t start talking right away. The reason other players have to wait is because their teams have exclusive rights until their contracts run out at the end of the NFL year.

Brees will probably get a better contract, but I don’t think he’s going anywhere.

Payton is not coming to KC

I dont think Pioli will make a strong effort to try. He will probably bring him in and do the bare minimum. I won’t get my hopes up. Just hoping they resign Bowe and Carr. Probably wont sign Solail either from Miami.

I could see him going to the raiders if they made an offer. I believe both teams are very good other than the qb position

if that happens (it could palmer may have blew it) everyone that is so sure kc is the spot will riot. Yes we’ll know kc would be the perfect place for him but maybe this team isn’t as close as we all hope. (i think it is, but you gotta watch the homer glasses) Imo There’s no way, if the chiefs really try, that they shouldn’t be able to get him but you have to wonder why the chiefs aren’t being brought up at all
