Carr and Bowe
reason i say this is there are plenty of other elite players at there postionns who are free agents this year so there might not be as many teams looking at them as we thought would be.....
we as chiefs fans like fans of other teams are biased toward our own players and ...will always think they are the better free agent
FA WR-- DeSean Jackson, Vincent Jackson, Steve Johnson, Marquise Colston, Wes Welker, Reggie Wayne, Brandon Lloyd, and Mario Manningham
FA CB--- Coretland Finegan, Brent Grimes, Carlos Rogers
(there are more i just stopped listing them lol but you get my point) heres to hoping we can keep our core guys and lock them up for years to come so we can focus on our o line and nose tackle

To me WR is easier to fill than CB.
Yes I know KC didnt have a legit WR FOREVER before DBowe. I just look at the ability that the WR position is bringing from college and the rules the NFL has in place as of right now.
The NFL rules are geared towards the passing game. This makes it much easier for less talented players to play the position. On the flip side it makes it harder for a CB to be a legit NFL CB.
What a year! At least we have the Royals... Oh Wait!
This
Especially this year. Alot of WR options headed to FA. Another way to look at it is the offense is still a work in progress whereas the defense is closer to complete(minus a NT) so why mess with a good thing.

agreed, we should re-sign and keep both
Carr is already a Top 10 CB

hi, Mo! 5 minutes!!!
Bowe was sure talking like he's going to be back the other day.
Hopefully it wasn’t just lipservice. He might not be thrilled about Daboll but he’s got to be able to look at Marshalls numbers and be pretty happy about that.

Is Flowers a Top 10 CB?
So are you thinking we have TWO top 10 CB’s? Not disagreeing, just seeing what you think…

My $0.02
Flowers top 10, Carr top 20. That’s still suggesting Carr is better then about 1/2 the leagues #1 CBs.
"Give them nothing! But take from them everything!"
I think the difference is that
I dont think Carr could guard someone like D. Jackson, Cruz, S.Smith, or any of the smaller, quicker WR’s in the NFL. I think Flowers has the ability to cover pretty much anything out there.(Even though he has been beat by some)
What a year! At least we have the Royals... Oh Wait!
both in my opinion

hi, Mo! 5 minutes!!!
Carr is a must!
Plus there’s no good reason not to bring Bowe back.
We can easily afford it and can’t replace either short term. If Pioli screws this up it will further cement my opinion of the guy.
If we went through a rebuild just to release guys in their prime...
then the plan really sucks.
If it wasn’t for the accursed paycheck, would I really imprison myself in this dungeon of the human soul?
If you dont tag & trade one of them for a qb
You sign both of them to longterm contracts, and franchise our FB.

Keep Carr, Tag and Trade Bowe.

I posted elsewhere
We should do this and trade Bowe to St. Louis along with our #11 pick and maybe a 4th rounder or so…St. Louis is looking for OT and for WR and if we give them a WR and a pick to get an OT (#11), we could get RG3 with their #2 pick. Someone said I was nuts to give them Bowe for an unproven RG3. But without a decent QB, Bowe’s upside is limited at best.

As competitors and business men,
if I were them..especially Bowe, I would want to know that the team is willing to upgrade the QB position. If they start in with the “ol Cassel’s our guy” without a commitment to real competition, I’d seriously consider other options that are
A. Better for my career and potential for SB’s (AND)
B. Show me the $$$
I think with RAC staying HC Carr will stay
Bowe could easily want to know what is going to happen at the QB position, although Cassel did lead him to a probowl birth and 15 TDs

hi, Mo! 5 minutes!!!
Hey now
Don’t hate on change.. sure it rattles around, is annoying to carry, can be bulky.. but you can make a lot of hobos happy with a dollar’s worth of pennies!

Maybe this whole "QB Competition"
is Pioli’s attempt to pacify Bowe. Will it really happen is the question.
Twitter: @RaiderHater86
that's quite a pacifier
and all this time I thought it would take money

hi, Mo! 5 minutes!!!
You forgot to add all of the incoming rookies!
So, add all the new WR’s and CB’s projected in the 1st or 2nd and those lists become very long. Good Insight
