Doug Martin
Watch him run. It reminds me of Priest Holmes. Incredible patience and vision. Especially on the screen around 1:25 in the video....flashbacks to 2003. I hope the Chiefs trade back and pick him up. Sorry in advance if you feel this belongs in the draft forum. Just wanted to share my thoughts.

Hes got some great moves and is so damn shifty but with some strength due to his attention to the weight room. Priest Holmes is a good comparison I liken him to Ray Rice.
He could make a deadly 3 headed attack that Daboll could have some fun with.
Me and Matt Cassel just - you up, dog!
Looks loke a good prospect in the 2nd or 3rd rounds.
Great balance, great fee. Shifty. Great lateral quickness. Soft hands. Thick in his lower half and built low, gives him great balance and helps him deliver hit with god pop. Decent vision at the line, better when in space.
What will keep him of the first round: obviously, his lack of size. Hard to keep pounding away at the defenders when your under or at 200 lbs amd everyone else is a good 20-30 lbs than you are used to competing against. Especially in that conference. Burst: doesnt have one. He hit the hole with the same speed as he runs in the open field. Lacks a seperate gear. He looks like a fine propspect, has ok vision but his lack of burst may land him on a team that likes to spread the field like NE or NO.
Also, I dont really thinking he fits what we’re missing from our RBs. More size, more power.
Funny most sites have him listed as 5-9, 215
Which is a bowling ball type RB, with good speed and cutting ability.
I will also disagree on the burst, after seeing him cut it doesn’t take long to get back to full speed, he is not the fastest guy nor will he be breaking long runs but the burst is there. Watch the kick return in the bowl game for a short example of that.

This is a good RB class
Richardson, Lamar Miller (my favorite), Martin and a couple others could all end up being very good at the next level.
Predictions:
I'm going to stop predicting positive things
Miller would be the perfect RB to back up Charles

what's great about Martin...
he’s VERY good in pass protection… which is rare for a RB coming out of college
I’d be happy with Martin, Miller, Pead, Richardson and probably a couple others
, thanks for sharing this ... and fanshots is the PERFECT place for it
