Definitely
I hope he helps Pittsburgh get to the next level(again) like he did for the Chiefs and got us to the playoffs- SB for them.
Hopefully he finds a non-hostile environment and doesn’t doesn’t create one too.

What will you say when their offense dominates?
product of a good organization is my guess…

Yeah.. I second that
I liked his coaching style. Just wish he could have had a couple more years… Would love to see him succeed in Pitt.

We will probably see a lot of this.
from KC players.

I thought everyone hated him...
Isn’t that why they doused Crennel with Gatorade after they bear GB?
"saints_chiefsfan1979 is a genius" - yes, I lost a bet.
Just cause they like Crennel
doesn’t mean they won’t show Haley respect. He did coach them for 2 1/2 years

I think the players loved Todd Haley
it was the fans, media and Pioli that turned on the guy.
The relationships probably got rough towards the end, but they all seemed to like/respect Todd Haley

Even McClain?

We don’t know what happened, but the players seemed to like Haley up until the end.

McClain talked about how the team was more prepared the week after he was fired.

On twitter...
McClain said something like “great move” in regards to Pittsburg interviewing Haley so yes even McClain. I think the players still like and respect him, hut they also understood the situation p.
This is likely
They knew exactly what was going on and McClain’s remark about being better prepared was most likely associated with the fact that with Haley’s removal, the drama was taken out of the way.

i'm sure they did it on purpose

They did have some awful games under Haley
That means the players didn’t love him?

I shoulda used sarcasm font.
But vehemently refuse to.

he only coached baldwin for 13 games...most of those he could not play

my point was for bossmanham
he said the players would show respect since he was their coach for 2.5 years. i was just pointing out that even the guy who really barely knew him had respect for him

Are we sure this isn't from a Succop?

This hire makes total sense to me.
The last time Haley was an offensive coordinator his team took the Steelers down to the wire in the Super Bowl.
Pittsburgh wants to get back to running the ball more. Todd Haley is committed to running the ball.
Todd Haley also has an attachment to Pittsburgh. It’s no doubt his favorite pro team.
This makes sense.

It is.
I don’t get people acting like it’s just silliness and the Steelers are crazy.
They will do just fine on O next season.

can't wait to compare and contrast the Haley offenses.
If he comes out slinging the ball like in the Arizona days.
There is going to be a Scott Pioli shit storm in Kansas City soon after IMO.

I've heard Cardinals fans say
that they wouldn’t mind Haley back because at least they ran the ball when he was in Arizona.
I have no doubt that the Steelers hired Todd Haley knowing that he intends to have a legitimate running game, since this is why they apparently got rid of Arians.

Good for him
It would be good to go up his O with the newly improved Crennel D.

I think...
Haley will do a good job as OC in Pittsburgh. I think he was a little in over his head as a head coach and this will be a good opportunity for him to build his resume a little further.

How Could he Possibly have been in over his head as a Head Coach
When he won a Division title and steered the team to it’s greatest one season improvement ever as a Head Coach. If you mean he could no longer deal with the micromanagement and pettiness from above, I agree with you. But as a Head coach, he did a helluva job Coaching.

Here's a guy
that by all accounts should have a hate chip on his shoulder for his previous, hard ass, over bearing , screaming maniac of a coach. Some how though, he finds a way to send a tweet of congratulations. Baldwin may have just told you where he wants to play football and it may not be for Scott Pioli.
