That’s a pretty huge scoop for 610.

Best of luck to Haley in Pittsburgh. Hopefully (for his sake) he’s figured out how to gameplan and scheme for opponents…otherwise this will likely be a short stint.

Also, I hope our defense destroys the Steelers this coming season. :)

You dont seem to remember his stint in Zona was pretty successful.

You ever think about why he might have been successful in Zona and not in KC? For a passing game to be successful you have to have a Great QB. One who is not only accurate but also is very smart. You need a QB who can make can read an entire Defense and get the ball out quick like Orton showed the last 3 games. Also explains the sack margin between Orton and Cassell. You need a QB who can put the ball in stride on crossing routes not behind them or over their head. You need a QB who can give the WR a chance down the field, not 10 yards to far or out of bounds. None of those things describes Matt Cassell. Hes a backup QB and that is why Haley failed here. You can only coach and gameplan so much, then you have to have competant players with the ABILITY to go out and Execute that gameplan.

I always did like you as KC’s Coach. I’m sorry that Pioli hamstrung you with a backup, noodle armed, 1 read QB who cant hit the broad side of a barn! I expect you will do big things with Big Ben at the helm. Congrats!
