PrintYup, the KU-MU Border War continues tonight, at least in basketball (you know, the game where the ball is round instead of pointy) with both teams ranked in the Top 10. The last two games of this historic series, as the Big 12 conference will soon be losing Missouri.
That's tonight's discussion starter, along with the news of Willie Roaf making the Hall of Fame, and we heard rumors of Brian Daboll talking to the Chiefs for some minor role. Mike Vrabel is still retired and somewhere in the heart of Indianapolis, Peyton Manning and Robert Irsay are attending the same pre-game party.

I was actually feeling like it could be a possibility a couple days ago. With the OC hiring, reports about Manning in Miami, etc.. it just feels like chances are getting slimmer the more we learn.

I can deal because it was a twofer
all are good, but Allen alone doesn’t outweigh the two players in Charles and Albert. You can throw out all the crap about Allen being on thin ice and being a risk – just looking player for players, we ended up with better value by sheer quantity… and we did it without tanking quality.
To Trent’s point – I agree Allen deserved it over Suggs. Helluva season Jared.

I'm not convinced Curtis Martin should be in the HOF
Staying healthy and producing at league average YPC isn’t enough for me.
I know he doesn't have as long a track record as Martin
But a guy like Michael Turner reminds me of Martin. Good, consistent back, but not a HOF level player. Maybe they put too many guys in.

I think it’s because his other running backs sucked so bad, he was glad to have someone with a little consistency.
I like Martin eventually, but
To put him in over Chris Carter, is my biggest beef – for two non-championship-winning players, Carter was more impressive to me. Martin was steady, consistent and an extremely well-rounded player. Easily an every down back, good hands, good blocker, good runner. He reminds me a bit of Emmitt Smith, doesn’t strike you as the most athletic or explosive runner, but through exceptional vision and technique was able to excel.
I wouldn’t have a problem with Martin getting in eventually, but some of the players he was chosen over this year… not sure I understand that. I’d put Will Shields, Tim Brown and maybe Andre Reed (iffy) in over Martin.

Manning will throw for 60+ TDs and Charles will have 28 rushing TDs and 40 total (gotta get those recs). Bowe, Baldwin and Breaston will all eclipse 1k yards and 10 TDs, Moeaki will only get about 800 yds but will also clip 10+ TDs.
We will beat every team by at least 60 points, sometimes 80-100. Eric Berry will have 18 INTs, 7 for TD. Hali will have 36 sacks, Houston 20 (cause you just let the AI control him).

Might look at him. Quinn is interesting to me. Anderson showed promise in Quinn’s rookie season so they had to keep doing what was working. then finally in 09 when he gets a legitimate chance to show what he can do, The team has absolutely no offense for him to work with, then gets traded to Denver and is buried behind Tebow. I wouldn’t mind taking a flyer on him.

It just depends
I would make it hot and sweet, teriyaki could work if you like teriyaki wings.
Usually, you just add stuff until you get the marinade to taste great and enjoy.
You could get a dry rub, there is a lot of stuff you can do. Use some of that stat research, but instead type in marinade recipes. You will find something, get some ingredients and experiment.
