I like it
Can we get to free agency. I’ve got multiple bets going for next year with a Texans fan

Haley/muir are better than Daboll. Hopefully ur money is on the Texans

the chiefs break news at midnight
kind of like when the colts left baltimore in the middle of the night.
will the chiefs ever draft a Qb in the first round, not since todd blackledge in 83. and the chiefs could of had marino. OH well atleast 65 toss power trap worked for KC, it should be wide open red. Hank stram still the man.
Yeah i would much rather have al.
Oh well he’s gotta be better than muir.

Gotta say, not a big fan of this move at all.
We’ll see I suppose. Just kind of a giant let down.

BS move... Pioli keeping in the circle of trust
Guy was passed over by McDaniels for a promotion in NE so left bitter an his stints since have sucked. This is essentially the same Odense as last year. QB competition? They’ll probably bring in Kerry Collins. Pioli had a chance to take a chance and hire a real OC (Saunders) but instead hired someone he could control. Dear Hunt family, listen to you audience, yes, the same one you are trying to entice to the home games

Decided against proof reading was in a tizzy
Now that I posted it, noticed it wasn’t grammar I Cali correct. Hopefully the emotion shone thru
by Chiefs_KC on Feb 4, 2012 12:13 AM CST via mobile up reply actions
Pioli didn't hire him
he doesn’t pick the coaching staff, Crennel does
Predictions:
I'm going to stop predicting positive things
You really believe that? Buy the War gamaes book.
Romeo is happy to be both DC and HC but Pioli is calling the shots. Turns out RAC is in it for one last payday.. Like a bad movie script
by Chiefs_KC on Feb 4, 2012 12:19 AM CST via mobile up reply actions
So why was RAC conducting the interviews?

It's all a big conspiracy to fool us fans
clearly.
Predictions:
I'm going to stop predicting positive things
Probably had Pioli talking to him in his earpiece.

It's called song and dance for Roger
Daboll has been a total failure as OC. He’s just a puppet as expected.
by Chiefs_KC on Feb 4, 2012 12:49 AM CST via mobile up reply actions
Roger who?
And what do you mean by puppet?
"The Chiefs are in great hands with Romeo and Scott and I wish them nothing but the best." - Bill Muir
It will be hard for him to be a puppet in KC
He really won’t have a boss on offense and Romeo will stay out of his way.
Meh...

War Games?
I read War Room, is that what you meant?
Predictions:

I saw the movie War Games.
Maybe that’s what he meant.

Oh shit?
The lockout is back?

We'll see.
I tend to agree though. I wanted something better with this hire. This doesn’t bring any enthusiasm at all to me. I think pioli and co. missed on a good opportunity here.
by bossmanham on Feb 4, 2012 12:18 AM CST via mobile up reply actions
Yes, Daboll was the obvious choice with the coaching ties
He hasn’t done well as an OC at all. He’s just someone both Romeo and Pioli know from their NE days. Definitly not a hire based on Resume….
by Chiefs_KC on Feb 4, 2012 12:23 AM CST via mobile up reply actions
Yeah...
I hope I’m wrong, but I just don’t see this as helping the offense. Oh well. Ride our d.
I’m willing to give the guy a chance, but after being built up with news about Saunders, I’ve come crashing back to earth.
Pioli better hit with free agency. I don’t know how much more I can take.
by bossmanham on Feb 4, 2012 12:28 AM CST via mobile up reply actions
What a joke... Daboll as OC has been terrible
But he keeps his shoe phone on line for downloads
by Chiefs_KC on Feb 4, 2012 12:27 AM CST via mobile reply actions
Well at least they didn't get my hopes up
So another average season without any playoff wins is to be expected now
For constantly playing Palko, Haley needs to be fired

It's not really a welcome
so much as a you’re flight out of Plainsville has been canceled indefinitely.

I wouldn't bury your head in the sand yet
Let’s see what other moves the Chiefs make this offseason.

Well some people predicted an uninspiring hire
and this fills the bill.
Now…
Onto:
WR Coach
OL and OL Asst (Will Shields…yes please)
And then there is the Jim Zorn issues, coupled with any more assistants that might not fit with Brian Daboll.
To steal a Tarkus line…
Maybe now we will throw Daboll.

Not sure I like this hire
His offense did better last year but he hasn’t been good for the most part. Then again he hasn’t had much to work with.
Isn’t he a west coast offense guy though? For some reason i thought that was what they ran in Cleveland when he was there.
Insert witty yet thought provoking phrase here.
That might not be a bad thing.
Isn’t he a west coast offense guy though?
From what I understand, he’s very flexible, adjusting to his personnel, though.

That is definitely needed here

I like the hire
He made Matt Moore look like a legit QB last season, and he brought out the tiger in Reggie Bush. We could stand to do a lot of the same with Cassel and McCluster/Charles. The only downfall is this hurts us in the PeyPey derby. Saunders ran the same offense as IND does, Daboll does not
There are no stupid questions just stupid people
Daboll was also in Miami when they were on their 9 game losing streak last season, funny how you forgot that.
Terrible hire
Didn't his offensive scheme beat us this season?
by DizzyKC on Feb 4, 2012 2:19 AM CST via mobile up reply actions
We also got beat by some really mediocre teams this season like the Bills, Lions, Broncos, and overrated Jets
Does that mean we look at the coordinators of those teams too? That its okay to look at them since they beat us?
Matt Moore is very underated, just dealt a bad hand
goes 6-2 with Carolina playing great. Carolina goes on to select Jimmy Clausen and drops Moore to number 2. Goes to Miami. When Henne’s continued horrid play finally comes to an end and Moore get promoted and plays great and really sparks the team. Miami will no doubt go on to pick up Orton or draft a QB to replace him. He’s been given his opportunity to prove his worth and has played great yet gets demoted.

Has Zorn resigned yet?
What does that say about Zorn? He’s prolly pissed.
by DizzyKC on Feb 4, 2012 2:18 AM CST via mobile reply actions
Only upside to this is that he will bring a different offense to KC
West Coast offense may actually really work in KC with our WRs and RBs.
