Bowe and Dorsey for Manning?
Would you give up a top ten receiver and a DE playing out of position for the magical Manning? No gaurantees Manning will even get back to 80% of his old self, no gaurantees he will play well outside on grass for most of the season. Huge risk for a possible huge reward. My gut tells me with Peyton under center Baldwin would more than fill Bowe's old shoes.
(understood Manusky has run a 3-4 in his two previous stints

No
Not when Manning is likely going to be cut by Indy because of owed money and Indy looking to rebuild.
I don't get all the trade talk.
He’s not going to be traded, he’ll be cut. The bonus he is set to receive is before trades can be made and Manning’s camp isn’t going to move that back just to help out the team that’s kicking him to the curb.
Do we want to spend the money on Peyton and can we make him an offer that will lure him here? Are we willing to put the pieces around him?

yes and yes
I was once fired from a job two days after I waited on Matt Cassel and his wife Lauren Killian. Totally my AP moment to remember. Unfortunately also one of my stupidest moments.

Nope
Cause the colts aren’t going to be able to trade him.
1 no trades until the league year starts.
2 league year doesn’t start until AFTER 28million bonus is due (Condon has said that they will NOT push back Mannings bonus date)
3 Manning will be either cut or kept – and it sure looks like cut

With Peyton under C an average WR could fill Bowe's shoes
but my guess would be Manning and Wayne would be a package deal so trade Bowe and bring Wayne in as a stopgap for 3 or so years while Baldwin develops.
Crazy scenario that probably wouldn’t happen but not a bad one
But Manning is probably getting cut.
I can’t see this happening.
When you fail to prepare, you prepare to fail.
Jamaal above all. #25 ftw.

No need to trade bowe
but if you get Manning you can let Bowe go in FA
Clark Hunt and Scott Pioli need to IMPRESS me in 2012....No Settling this year Chiefs Fans!!
get multiple picks that would improve the team in other areas
Because if he doesn’t want to re-sign then he would just walk to free agency without us getting anything in return. Anyone who knows football should have been able to put that one together
If it came down to a trade after manning redoes deal
Yes i would make that trade. The chiefs would have a great qb for three or four years and they can find another de and wr in that time. Will it happen that way? No. Would i do it? In a heartbeat. Would the chiefs have a top 5 offense..? Probably

Since it seems like the Colts will move to a 34
I doubt this happens
Me and Matt Cassel just - you up, dog!
