Why pass when you can run the ball up the middle

Exactly, is this good or bad?
Standing on the corner in a white Godfather hat. He drives a long black gangster Cadillac. He can steal a broads mind, man, in three or four minutes. It’s not how long you talk, brother, it’s what you put in it.
It's not good when the other team is trying to run out the clock.

Exactly...
Why pass the ball when the game has already been blown out.
Go Chiefs!!!!
It might be slightly misleading
We were the only team to play two full games against Tebow in the regular season. Obviously, two full games against Tebow will yield under 20 pass attempts, which is less than a real QB would throw in a single half sometimes.
Tebow might know Jesus, but Bill Muir is old enough to have actually babysat him in the manger.

Especially when the score is 48-3
I imagine our knack for blowouts this season probably drove up that average.
So this is good, right?
I was once fired from a job two days after I waited on Matt Cassel and his wife Lauren Killian. Totally my AP moment to remember. Unfortunately also one of my stupidest moments.
Cos you tend to run the ball when you've got a big lead

Or when
Dorsey gets blown off the ball every snap
1. David DeCastro (Stanford- guard) 2. Nick Foles (Arizona- quarterback) 3. Hebron Fangupo (BYU- nose tackle) 4. Derek Wolfe (Cincinnati- defensive end) 5. Brandon Taylor (LSU- safety) 6. Tom Compton (South Dakota- offensive tackle) 7. Tyler Urban (West Virginia- tight end)
This needs a poll.
Options: Good, Bad

Most teams used a simple game plan against us . . .
Simple, run the ball, keep it close knowing the KC offense couldn’t/wouldn’t throw the ball. This is great info for a post on the defense. Everyone thinks this defense is primed for domination, but I believe there is no way to take that next step until the offense gets better.
This was because the Chiefs
gave up an average of 4.2 yards per carry on the ground. Why throw the ball when you can get a first down (on average) with three running plays?

That's not so bad.
Actually it was pretty average. Tied for 14th in the league for defense rushing average allowed per attempt.
Side note: the real surprise to me at looking at the stats sorted like that, was that DET came in right near the bottom allowing 5.0 yards per rushing attempt. I thought that D Line was supposed to dominate vs the run? o.O
It's no fun if I have to explain it.
As long as you didn't run at Suh you were good

Suh: Most overrated player in the league.

Tony Romo would like a word with you

Outside of Dallas not many people (besides craig) think he’s the greatest QB in the league. Plenty of people think that about Suh.

I think the people in Dallas figured that out this past season

You have any friends who are Cowboys fans? Because the Cowboys fans I know still think he’s a great QB.

lol how are Tom Brady and Maurice Jones-Drew overrated?
I think some players are just mad lol..

Y'all are on crack
Romo is one of those unique QB’s that he’s perhaps so overrated, he’s become underrated.
I’d still put him in the upper echelon of QB’s even without the playoff victories.
Funny that he’s called a choke and bla bla bla despite having the highest 4th quarter passer rating of all time. Oh well, it’s a better story to say he sucks in the 4th quarter then to look at the facts.

I'd take him over what we have right now every day of the week.
It's no fun if I have to explain it.
I would too. But I don’t think he’s that much different than Orton.
"Hater" is a term used by weak-minded people in the face of legitimate criticism.
He might share Orton's lack of a clutch gene.
But don’t be fooled, Romo is far better than Orton.

Dude he is WAY different than Orton.
His release (as fast as any QB in the league) and evasiveness in the pocket (superb) alone put him ahead of Orton. He’s a better athlete and passer.
Romo’s biggest problem seems to be his ability to perform under pressure. Case in point, sucking it up when his super hot girlfriend is in the stands.

Kinda
he makes plays but doesn’t make his dline better. You would think the DE that plays next to him would be a sack machine.

Like Romo, outside of Denver (and not even everyone there) how many think he’s actually a capable QB?

I'll fight you.
How can you compare Romo’s body of work to Tebow?

In all honesty
Suh was so over-aggressive in trying to rush the QB that he often left huge holes in the running game. I saw that many times throughout the season. I live up north so I, unfortunately, had to witness a lot of NFC North football this year.
1. David DeCastro (Stanford- guard) 2. Nick Foles (Arizona- quarterback) 3. Hebron Fangupo (BYU- nose tackle) 4. Derek Wolfe (Cincinnati- defensive end) 5. Brandon Taylor (LSU- safety) 6. Tom Compton (South Dakota- offensive tackle) 7. Tyler Urban (West Virginia- tight end)
Another reason I hope something close to my signature becomes reality in April.
I like Dont'a Hightower if we can trade into the 25ish range in the first. Think he is going to be a great NFL ILB and would look great beside DJ. He is known as a run stuffer who is pretty good on the blitz but what I saw when watching him play was a very smart footbal player and a leader on the nations best D. Haven't really seen anyone else say that he plays well in coverage but vs. LSU he was excellent in coverage. If we can move down and pick up more picks that's who I take.
If you want to trade back and draft Hightower
you will have to stay ahead of B’more

I would draft him as early as 20th overall...

I'll be optimistic
And say it’s because of our awesome shut down corners and pressure from Tamba Hawk and Houston.

When you lose five games by 27+ points.
Teams aren’t going to throw against you a lot.

Thus Haley’s dismissal
Todd Haley lost 7 of his last 15 games by 20 or more points. It was time for him to go.

IIRC, the Dolphins just bitchslapped us at home.
That was the first game they started to get hot.

We play the Broncos twice a year.
Their passing incompetence has got to be skewing these stats.
Toby is in HR, which technically means he works for corporate, so he's really not a part of our family. Also, he's divorced, so he's really not a part of his family.
What, 8 completions in two games?
