The plan is to win a Super Bowl Right?
What does it take?
Eli Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Big Ben, Eli Again, Peyton Manning, Another Big Ben, and Two Tom Bradys. These are the winners of the past 10 Super Bowls, Elite QBs. (Forget Brad Johnson, he was the exception to the rule.)
I am a believer in Andrew Luck and I think he has the potential to be one of these guys, however I feel there is no way to get him.
How about this trade to STL for 2nd overall pick?
1. 11th pick in 2012
2. 1st rd 2013
3. 2rd rd 2013
4. Glenn Dorsey
We use 2nd overall to select RGIII.
Do you think STL would go for that?
I love Jamaal just as much as any of you but look at it like this:
Who are the best RBs in the NFL currently?
Peterson, MJD, Gore, RIce, Charles, McFadden(when healthy), CJ, McCoy? What do they all have in common? They have no Super Bowls. Not even close. RBs and run heavy teams don't succeed in this new league.
Picture this.
QB RGIII
RB 3-4rd pick, Dex, Battle, Other
TE Moeaki, Maybe Fleenor, other 2nd rd pick 2012
WR Bowe
WR Baldwin
Slot Breaston
Then run a pass heavy offense.
This looks pretty dangerous to me. RBs don't win, QBs do.
Am I stupid? Would STL even go for this?
