Chris Sembower, a proud Arrowhead Pride user, does his "Posterized" series on the Kansas City Chiefs around here. If you're a regular reader, you know what I'm talking about (and how awesome the paintings are). If you don't, check them out at this link.
It seems as if the word is getting out on just how good this Mr. Sembower is. Sporting KC, Kansas City's soccer team, now has these billboards around town (via SportingKC.com):

I love coachin, but my greatest accomplishments are not the wins, or losses, or even an undefeated season. My greatest accomplishment is knowing I took a kid from 4th grade to 7th grade, and gave him the confidence to which he can play at a high level when he goes off to play 8th grade ball for his school, and that he can become a better student, a better friend, and a better man with hard work and dedication.

I'm sad to say that I haven't been to a game, either. SO excited to, now.
They took me on a tour of the stadium a day after I met with them initially.. and all I can say is WOW. That stadium is absolutely incredible. There is so much more to the design of it than I think most people realize. There’s easter-eggs everywhere.

The Adidas logo on that thing is the real icing on the cake for me. Sooo cool to be on their radar
I definitely have to give Chiefs fans a big hat tip for all of this. I throw out an ocassional Tweet or Fanshot every once in a while but I know a lot of you guys pounded a lot of pavement to make this happen. So thanks to all of YOU for helping me get seen. I like Dont'a Hightower if we can trade into the 25ish range in the first. Think he is going to be a great NFL ILB and would look great beside DJ. He is known as a run stuffer who is pretty good on the blitz but what I saw when watching him play was a very smart footbal player and a leader on the nations best D. Haven't really seen anyone else say that he plays well in coverage but vs. LSU he was excellent in coverage. If we can move down and pick up more picks that's who I take.

Having too many to cover in two years is definitely a good thing, though! Just imagine if we were the Seahawks or some team like that. Not much to draw inspiration from there :(

I was sitting about in that same spot on the lower bowl...
maybe a little to the right when that happened.
That was an emotional game, Dexter deserves some more fans for how he played in that game towards the end. So much emotion, my voice hurt for days after it and the worst part was the walk to the vehicle with all the celebrating Raider fans…

yeah it was an emotional game :(
the chiefs film crew came up to where I was sitting and tried to snap some footage of me and the family cheering and stuff, but they got up there right after the raider TD that pretty much sealed it. I was absolutely fuming. not the best time to snap some footage :P
The silver lining for me on that game was seeing two Raider fans from seperate crews get into a brawl at the bottom of one of the spiral walkways. it was pretty funny. all the chiefs fans were screaming stuff like “man you guys won, AND are on the same team!”. lots of pointing and laughing ensued. it made me slightly less pissed.

yeah, it's a frame rate thing. same type of thing that happens when you see a propeller on film going 'backwards'.
new monitors don’t have that problem usually. frame rate is getting better and better
