Although I think the opening sentence of Clayton's article is ludicrous, he does have some info on the contract. According to him, Routt's contract pays him $11M this year. That means he gets $8.6M over the last two years of his contract. Factor out the $6M guaranteed for this year, and another $500K guaranteed somewhere else (Clayton is reporting $6.5M total guaranteed), and you get to $5M in base salary this year and $8.1M in base salary over the last two years - so it's a slightly front-loaded contract.
