Ryan Tannehill???

I will be the first one to admit that Robert Griffin III is my man crush, but I also realize we would have to give up a lot to move up and get him in April's draft. However, it CANNOT be overlooked that Kansas City needs a legitimate QB. If Scott Pioli has any sense at all I think he will sign a NT in free agency as well as a RT. This is will give the Chiefs a lot more flexibility in the draft.

It is also crucial that we keep Bowe and Carr! As much as I would love to see #18 in red and gold I don't think he is healthy. All it takes is ONE bad hit and everything changes. Although this is true with any player, Manning could get really jacked up.

So, this is why I am contemplating drafting QB Ryan Tannehill. He will be drafted in the 1st Rd, now the question is where and at what pick?

Romeo Crennel had QB's Derek Anderson, Charlie Frye and Brady Quinn in Cleveland. After watching both Cassel and Orton, I bet he realizes that both of them are extremely average. I have to believe that by now he KNOWS he needs a legit franchise QB if he is going to successful. He probably won't get another chance at being a head coach.

Here's the question: What would you think of the Chiefs (1) letting Orton walk, (2) keeping Cassel as the immediate starter and (3) grooming Tannehill to be "The Guy" that will lead our franchise to a Superbowl??
