He's been mocked to KC before...

The talent gap between Castro and Adams is to large for the Chiefs to pass up on Castro and take Adams.

No he isn't.
But he will be picked in the top 20.
"Give them nothing! But take from them everything!"
2nd round talent
But a tackle needy team might bump up his draft stock
Do we go fetal and beg for mercy? Or do we pick up that broken piece of pipe laying on the ground and come up swinging? I choose pipe.
Sober (again) since January 10th, 2011.
I would say back of the 1st, beginning of the 2nd
I think the tattoo scandal hurts his draft stock though
Men succeed when they realize that their failures are the preparation for their victories.

Tattoo scandal? Oh my.

He's emerging as my favorite OT candidate
Waiting for the combine to see his measurables & 40 time. Similarly how I liked Solder last year, I’ll like Adams the most if he has the fastest 40.

What about the bread truck from Iowa State, out of curiosity?
I think Osemele will make someone very, very happy in the middle to lower portions of round 1.

Yes.
Because running 40 yards in a straight line is really important for your OTs.

Usually
speed translates to athleticism. If you’re a LT I’m picking in Round 1, you better be the quickest & most athletic.

There are cone and shuttle drills for that.
Or, since he played in a major conference, game tape.

I'm fully aware
but 40 time is just as telling as the other drills, if not moreso

Mmmm, Ok, I just don't really agree with that.
I’ve seen some pretty good athletes who can’t run in a straight line very well. Tamba for example.
I do like watching the athletes’ form in the 40, though. I remember seeing tape of Raji run the forty, his head stayed perfectly still, he didn’t over-stride at all. It was weird seeing somebody so round move like a WR.

Tamba is slow as hell
Athletic is a subjective term. Tamba has DT speed with DE agility

I like Adams...
and would not mind getting him in the first (on film he pretty much shut down JJ watt and Adrian Clayborn), but in this years draft class there is plenty of OT to choose from. I think the Chiefs should draft Richardson. If Jamaal Charles proves to be ineffective next year, we would still have a dangerous running game. If we lose the ability to run the ball, it would kill our offense.
I say draft Richardson 1st and then take Bobbie Massie in the second. He can play either position and he looks good on tape.

If I understand this correctly, he's very athletic for an O-lineman.
The same was said about Tyron Smith last year and he was pretty good.

*Dear David Glass, as a lifelong Royals fan, I beg you to please sell the team. You have always been the problem; you will never be the solution.
Smith was undersized RT coming from a pretty loaded USC team

Talent wise? Without a doubt.
He’s athletic, big, strong, and watching him play gives has a wow factor. I am sure how smart he is but and I hope he drops to our second (he won’t).
