So under contract we have Albert and Mims as tackles?
is that right?
Insert witty yet thought provoking phrase here.
You are correct, sir.
"[Jamaal Charles] probably fights crime in his spare time while inhaling carbon emissions, exhaling oxygen, and crapping oil. That’s how awesome he is. Not just good for the Chiefs, but America."

there goes that .001% chance we DONT draft an OT in the 1st round

nope, first year in awhile that walter mocking a T wont bother us

Im not really sad about this either
while I like the “sexy” picks in the draft and feel like we should get OL in FA I realize rebuilding this OL is a MAJOR need for this team, so where as I would like to have a miracle of miracles and trade up for RG3 or get another weapon offensively or defensively I know that there is 0% chance of it happening because we need Girth more than Speed this year.

I believe Richardson is restricted
So he’s on the team until whatever the deadline is for them to put a tender on him
He was restricted last year
This year he’s UFA
Me and Matt Cassel just - you up, dog!

This is acually dissapointing
I was looking forward what Maneri could contribute as a tackle. Guess he had problems gaining weight . Now we have yet another plodding Tight end on the roster…….sigh

he was already on the roster
now, they have room for another good OT
at least, that’s what I’m hoping
Where's UPS in making some not-even-closely-innocuous comment
about who this means we are going to draft?

I was hoping he could develop into that good OT
I like former Tight Ends at tackle like a Jason Peters

I didn't have that much hope for him :)
he looks like a role-player to me
which is fine… he’ll be better for short yardage than Becht
maybe he won’t run into the RB?
but how. they have moeaki locked in, then now oconnell and mariani are at best a 3 te.

I don't mind this
He’s going to be used like one of those old school, para-tackle type TEs. I think they’re of value with the popularity of 3-4 defenses.

Jason Dunn was one hell of a blocker.
This was pretty cool, too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iuhoMUR4uNE&feature=plcp&context=C39d8d89UDOEgsToPDskIU8FM7JyhYLrgJjeaWLB-u

For a second there when you said "seeing all those numbers" I thought you meant the score
I miss the days where we had double digits on the scoreboard by halftime.

Ha
I think that was the game where Waters fucking schooled Ray Lewis. Lewis was bitching on the sideline about being double teamed but it was all Waters.
by TheScootness on Feb 16, 2012 4:31 PM CST up reply actions
Yeah, and John Madden kept pointing out how he was getting single-blocked, but Ray kept insisting he was getting double-teamed.
Then this happened around the goalline… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6oRy0p5Byo&feature=plcp&context=C31fa9caUDOEgsToPDskLbMwzAc3Z4zrjOHJFpoBRI.
Everyone was taking shots at Ray. Roaf and Richardson were tossing him around all day on outside runs, Waters and Shields manhandled him on inside runs. John Madden even highlighted John WELBOURNE pancaking him once. Take a look at the end of the Dunn stiff arm I posted. Brian Waters just lays on top of him.
Watch the whole game here: http://www.kcchiefsgames.com/member-only/Games/ChiefsvsRavens2004.htm
And for Waters’ sake, I’ll post this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bd-kPOepNZs&feature=plcp&context=C329bed9UDOEgsToPDskIk5Kqzwc6ylpjL1iaWv92e

I noticed that at the end
Waters absolutely mauled him in that game.
Bask in the glory that is Kwame Harris. Poor Alex...
Freekin bootiful.
You know who I saw that from last year? McClain. That GB game, when they ran it in from short yardage, I saw McClain in the pile twisting on Woodson’s helmet. Woodson got up mad as hell, but he couldn’t do anything about it, so he just strutted back to his sideline. I loved that.

There is no possible way someone can say they dislike McClain, especially a Chiefs fan.
Whether it was the play you described, him pancaking A.J Hawk on a 5 yard run by Jackie up the gut, or even a ten yard rush by him at the back of our own endzone in the Denver game in which he just ran over Chris Harris and kept dragging those DB’s. This guy needs to pound the ball more, but I don’t want his blocking to be diminished, either! I’m so conflicted!
by NigerianNightmare on Feb 16, 2012 8:18 PM CST up reply actions 1 recs
my only knock on McClain
is that hes related to a Raider, outside of that I love the guy

If Pioli can sign
Nicks or Grubbs as OG, I’ll be happy with a Martin pick at #11/12. That would instantly fix the OL.
This was inevitable
after he took out Polamalu.
