RG3 the second best QB prospect since Peyton Manning?
In case you missed it.
Over on mockingthedraft, user durst put together a nice little comparison between RG3 and other top-rated QB prospects since Manning. I'm conflicted on whether or not we should (or could) go after him. Nevertheless, this post should dispel the myth, which pops up now and again, that he is a running QB.

The guy is a passing QB, who just happens to have the mobility to do great things with his feet if things break down.
But he has pocket passer mentality, smarts and the arm to go with it.
It's no fun if I have to explain it.
It's hard to tell. All those running quarterbacks look alike to me.
When you gotta go in the lion's den, you don't go quiet. You go in loud, kick the door down and say WHERE IS THE SONUVABITCH. -B. Billick
RG3 or bust
Give up whatever it takes. People over value draft picks. They’re worthless when you got a GM who whiffs most of the time. Get the guy at any cost. I’d give 43 1st rounders for one Suepr Bowl
RG3 is going to be a good QB
QB numbers in college are hard to translate over to the NFL. A QB can look accurate in college because he has great receivers or because the defenses he is going up against suck. RG3 had good receivers but the big 12 defenses he went up against were decent to really good.
He has some work to do on his passing but we’re not talking Vick, Young, or Tebow here. He’s not as polished as either Manning coming out of college but he has good mechanics, a rocket arm, and his throwing motion looks natural to him rather than forced, like you see from Tebow when he tries to throw correctly.
Barring injury and given the right situation, RG3 is going to be an insanely good pro-qb.
Insert witty yet thought provoking phrase here.
Ummm yeah he sure will be fun to watch
It will be nice to forget about what dink and dunk means
Trade up for RGIII and profit
