Arrowheadlines: Chiefs News 2/13
Good morning...your Kansas City Chiefs news (and it's not much!).
Most people in Chicago spend their working hours contemplating relationships with family or friends. Some will take time to listen to music or a book on tape. Unfortuantely, for Spizzi, he can't stop thinking of one game.
"I guarantee you they beat Kansas City they make the playoffs. I guarantee you!" said Spizzi while pointing a shovel at the writer's face. "They lost 10-3. 10-3. You give me that team, I win that game. Seriously...I win that game."
COACHING CONNECTIONS: Landry was Jim Zorn's strong safety of choice in Washington, starting 31 games of Zorn's 32-game tenure as Redskins head coach from 2008-09. Entering his second season as Kansas City's quarterbacks coach in 2012, Zorn should be able to provide expert analysis on what a healthy Landry provides.
A product of LSU, Landry also has a number of connections inside Kansas City's locker room. Most noteworthy, Landry and
Dwayne Bowe were part of the same high school signing class at LSU in 2003.
The Kansas City Chiefs are being called the "longshot" of all possible destinations for Peyton Manning if or when he's released from the Indianapolis Colts. That's likely true considering the team already has Matt Cassel in a possible starting candidate and seemed impressed enough with Kyle Orton near season's end to ask him back as well. Then again, nothing would top a healthy Manning under center in Arrowhead.

O yea we already have cassel ! ...
This could be his last year at least. If he’s the starter I hope he has a good year then

"Meh" on the satire article. Decent premise, but a little lacking is subtlety - particularly with the mob enforcer stuff.
Everybody wants to be The Onion, but so few are good enough to be.
"[Jamaal Charles] probably fights crime in his spare time while inhaling carbon emissions, exhaling oxygen, and crapping oil. That’s how awesome he is. Not just good for the Chiefs, but America."

Redskins stink , I doubt he'll wanna go there
And Miami ? Good luck playing Brady twice a year and even a healthy raising up buffalo bills and the usually competitive jets .

Very true.
Problem is…he’s not. And very possibly, never will be.
My earliest Chiefs memories are watching guys named Dawson, Podolak, Taylor, Thomas, Bell, and Buchanan. So, yeah...I'm kind of an old fart.
Meh
He may never be 100 % but even 85 % manning may not be bad . I personally don’t think we will take him. I see us more going down the Orton trail. Maybe some weird pick Like foles in the second

Kc best place for Peyton
If they want him. Talented team, easy going hc like dungy, can dominate this division. Weather is overrated. If anything theyll be fewer colder games playing afc west than buff, nyc, and boston.

It was a slow morning for news...
My prayer to the football gods – please don’t bring Manning or Moss to KC…pretty please
I'm dressin my voodoo doll in stripes every season...
