Can Big Ben and Haley co-exist in Pittsburgh?
"How does Roethlisberger respond to getting slapped around a little?" Starkey asks. "The organization that granted him nearly unlimited power to play as he saw fit -- heck, to play when he saw fit after his ankle injury -- is trying to reclaim a portion of said power. And there is no delicate way to do that.
"So get your popcorn ready. It's either going to work to spectacular results or blow up in their faces. Applaud the high-risk, high-reward philosophy that has often served the Steelers well. Question their methods. Enjoy the cabaret."

It's something to pay attention to, for sure
Granted, I think Haley would be smarter than to step into Pittsburg as he did here in Kansas City. A lot of what he did early-on here won’t be necessary. The culture there doesn’t need to be changed.
But, the in-game dynamics could be interesting, what with the sideline outbursts with Cassel. And Cassel was a ‘yes’ man. Ben wouldn’t be as receptive, I don’t think. Could get interesting in Pittsburg.
Top 10 defense and another trip to the playoffs!
Tamba Hali, NFL Sack Leader, 2011
Actually from what that article says
Maybe the culture does need a change.
Me and Matt Cassel just - you up, dog!

That isnt the job of the OC...
His job is to backup what the HC wants to change. It is easier to say, “I am doing this because the HC wants me too… Dont shoot the messenger.”
What a year! At least we have the Royals... Oh Wait!
Why are we so interested? This is like the 10th Haley fanshot
I was a major Haley fanboy, but he is gone. It’s Pitt’s problem/gain.
This isn’t a knock on you Tarkus, people couldnt get him out the door fast enough and now we are tracking him like paparazzi
I think it's because he was such a polarlizing figure in KC.
I wanted him gone too, but I used to be a huge fan of his, and I remain interested in seeing how his career plays out.
"We want guys that start their careers with the Chiefs to play for us as long as possible." - Clark Hunt
If Herm went back to coaching we would do the same thing...

I can't understand why the media is making a big deal
out of something that shouldn’t and probably isn’t a big deal. Obviously they think Haley is hard to get along with and obviously they think Ben has too much free reign on the team. However, Haley is the coach and Ben is the player and Ben should shut his hole and listen. The Steelers are giving the relationship a chance to work out, everyone else should too.
