If we ended up going O Line in the first
Fleener would be a pretty tasty choice in the 2nd.
I could live with that.
It's no fun if I have to explain it.
when KC picks with the 43/44 pick
Three TEs will be off the board. Fleener Allen & Charles.
one of my favorite strategies for KC
go OL and TE early.
Fleener, Allen, Charles even Green would be great choices
Been saying this for months, IMO it makes the most sense
It solidifies our offense completely. Well except that pesky QB situation
Psh. Name one team that's won a championship with a supposed "franchise QB" in the last 4 days.
That’s right, you can’t do it.
"[Jamaal Charles] probably fights crime in his spare time while inhaling carbon emissions, exhaling oxygen, and crapping oil. That’s how awesome he is. Not just good for the Chiefs, but America."

Oh yeah? Well name a current starting NFL franchise QB that's been drafted in the last 4 days?
It's no fun if I have to explain it.
Would love to see this
He could start right away, and would improve our offense alot.
Never argue with an Idiot...... they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
sometimes I wonder how they would do that chalk outline, if you pushed someone into a tree chipper.
Would LVOe another Tight-end
outside of jake O’connel and pope …
Maybe. A good TE makes sense
but I’d still rather see a ryan tannehill taken if he’s there.
Braccae illae virides cum subucula rosea et tunica Caledonia-quam elenganter concinnatur!
we ain't getting Luck, RG3 or Manning
We do need SOMETHING

yeah, but I don't see how drafting a 2nd tier QB is really doing anything good for KC
I’d rather go with Orton/Cassel/Stanzi than count on a guy like Tannehill, who will likely be drafted too high and not be any better than Cassel
What about addressing more pressing needs early
And getting Egnew in the 4th? I’m a KU guy, so I haven’t watched a ton of his play, but everything I’ve seen I’ve really liked.
2012 Goal: Be invited to Lady Buttercup's spring ball.
2012 Resolution: To establish a better cravat collection than anyone else on AP.
2012 Wish: Chiefs Super Bowl
he's interesting
mostly a receiver, wasn’t asked to block… BUT, during Senior Bowl week, he showed a willingness and toughness that could bode well for his ability to be more of an all-around TE than most of Mizzou’s recent products.
TE is a need
how well did we do without Tony Mo, how good could we have been with him or someone as good.

If we get the chance, Allen is the obvious pick.
Has the blocking ability of a fullback (arguably the best blocking TE to come out of college since Jim Kleinsasser), and really isn’t that much of a drop off in receiving when compared to Coby Fleener.

Mizzou...
the tight ends have not played well at the next level lately and Egnew earned some negative marks from scouts at the Senior Bowl. I’m not sold on the pro potential there.
The Pats have shown what 2 athletic and diverse tight ends can add to an offense.
With Moeaki returning, another tight end, who can also have the skills of a WR, in 2 TE sets, just makes our offense more diverse and potent. We likely have more good WR’s than the Pats presently have, so we would have alot of options in the passing game, and be able to keep defenses guessing. Maybe we could even get some td’s in the redzone!
There once was a man from Nantucket......Nevermind.
Just Sign FA Carlson
Why waste a pick on a TE, when you could sign a FA like John Carlson of the Seahawks. Yes he was hurt all of last year, but the word here in Seattle is he will be available.
