Having seen & heard many opinions and viewpoints on what & whom the Chiefs need at this time. I can't render a total and complete verdict or would I through a comparison of each potential player's game skills and leadership skills. I'm not that INTO it.
The point behind all my comments and such is I have been around the game "a week or two" and observed quite a few teams/players on TV as well as in person both pro & college.
Teo is an amazing and unique individual. The kind that don't come down the pipe that often. There are abilities that allow him to enhance his teammates abilities that just wouldn't occur without him. So the thing I would consider most is that he is one of the few athletes which are really several guys in one uniform. not only does he have his own skills but the ability to MAGNIFY those of his fellow players and upgrade their level of play. IMO Obviously he wouldn't be doing that on day one coming from college to the NFL. Impact from ANY player (IMO) should be what they bring in TOTAL to the team and their REALISTIC potential in every facet.
To counter the whole "ND stigma" that others seem have issues with. Just let me say IF I personally knew of a kid from the University of BFE that had comparable attributes I would be singing his praises louder than this. I've was a Chiefs fan before many on here were conceived as well as the whole blog thing and the CHIEFS improvement is my only ambition.
I'm sure there is plenty of fodder above for cheap shots and humorous jabs and we're equipped to take them and may just return a volley or two. All that will be worthwhile if it causes just one to consider a different perspective for even just a moment.
The other thing that both amuses and impresses me is the amount of conviction and passion some convey in their posts/responses. Somebody who holds the position to make the decisions often debated here MAY look here but other than that; this is for the most part; Fantasyland folks so don't get too wound up!
