With all due respect, Teo fits in KC now.

So before the Belcher incident, we seemed to be set at ILB. Most people who wanted Manti Teo drafted based it on the intangibles (leadership, drive, etc.) and his obvious talent on the field. But QB is our #1 priority at this time. Unfortunately, I still believe that none of these QB prospects warrant a #1 overall selection.

Matt Barkley is a USC product that will join the proud USC-NFL heritage...Sanchez, CASSEL, Leinert, Palmer. No thanks. Taking a look at Geno Smith, there is some talent but he has Jamarcus Russell written all over him. There is plenty of talent at #33 to select a QB. I look to Andy Dalton as an example, we can find talent early in the second round that has experience and can come in to compete for the starting job. Especially with this draft, I can see a large number of QB's available there at #33.

Luke Kuechly for the Panthers has been phenomenal this year and leads all rookies in tackles not too mention he is top 5 in the league. Teo is even better. With the first pick of this draft, maybe second if we get our act together, we should take Teo. He is worth that high of a selection. He also fills a hole in the defense that by unfortunate circumstances, needs to be filled.

Starting LB corps Fall 2013: Hali, Johnson, Teo, Houston. That is a scary thought for the other 31 teams.
