The Kansas City Chiefs fired head coach Romeo Crennel on Monday morning and the status of GM Scott Pioli has yet to be determined. Clark Hunt said he would lead the coaching search, which will start with Falcons' Dirk Koetter.
It was previously reported that the Kansas City Chiefs planned to interview Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Dirk Keotter for their head coaching job.

Now we have a date for that interview: Tuesday.

The status of Pioli is still up in the air, which makes this whole thing pretty strange. In a normal world, the GM would be hiring the coach. But in Kansas City, the GM doesn't know if he'll be employed tomorrow.
