I was just looking up Derrick Johnson's stats on NFL.com, and was surprised to see that DJ had just turned 30 years old about 2 weeks ago. His age, compounded with the strained hamstring he suffered yesterday against the Panthers trying to chase down a much younger Cam Newton just goes to show how quickly we need to get a contender competing in Kansas City quickly. Where do you think this team will be when guys like DJ (30), Hali (29), Albert (28), and the other older guys start slowing down? Onto my real question, since I am no real expert, how long do you think our older, key players on the team can continue to play at a high level before they need to be replaced, or at least given thought about replacing?
