Yes Chiefs fans we all believe that the Chiefs should get like a young QB. Some fans want KC to get Michael Vick, some want to trade for Alex Smith. Then some Chief fans want to draft a QB like Geno Smith from West Virginia, Matt Barkley from USC, Tyler Wilson from Arkansas, or even Mike Glennon from North Carolina State.
I say lets get a QB that has made it to a Super Bowl. A Quarterback that has learned from a Super Bowl winning QB.
In the off-season the Chiefs should take QB Chase Daniels. What better way to kill two birds with one stone than by signing Saints backup quarterback Chase Daniels to be the starter? Daniels has gained valuable experience learning from Drew Brees; now is his chance for him to prove himself. Now people may say but can we risk another backup QB that has not got enough time to play in a NFL game. Yes but what he has shown during the pre-season and learned from Sean Payton and Drew Brees.
In the Pre-season Hall of Fame game he completed 15-of-20 passes for 203 yards, one touchdown and one interception.Daniels career pre-season statistics are 87-of-145 (60.0 percent) for 1,162 yards (8.01 YPA), 11 touchdowns, and five interceptions. Daniel has also scrambled 18 times for 83 yards (4.61 YPC). So Daniels is one of the best quarterbacks to ever play at the University of Missouri and would bring instant name recognition to the city. After Kansas City's failed quarterback moves in recent seasons, Daniels would at least give the Chiefs faithful something to cheer for.
LETS DO IT CHIEFS
