Can you remember what we thought about these Kansas City Chiefs in training camp? What the expectations were? How excited everyone was?

I can sort of remember back that far, that some people had the KC Chiefs winning the AFC West and that not one person had them sitting at 2-12 after 14 games.

A Twitter follower (@patg633) recently forwarded to me one of my tweets from back in August and, oh goodness, read it:

So Breaston is gonna be, what, the 4th best option in the passing game? That's a good offense.

I remember I got a lot of push back on that comment. The thinking was that Dwayne Bowe and Jon Baldwin would be out wide and Dexter McCluster would be in the slot, so Breaston wouldn't be on the field as much.

Of course, I didn't think they'd be this limited, especially given the current situation with Bowe out and Baldwin doing nothing on the field.

Give me one of your preseason predictions that now looks foolish.
