Is't it newsworthy? Our compradore from Save Our Chiefs.com reported that Scott Pioli return from a flight to Dallas last night at 9pm. Could this be a sign of his final meeting with Clark Hunt? No indication of Hunt offering Scott a new contract or extension. Speculation maybe that it is indeed the end of Pioli's journey with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Ever since the majority of KC fans started accepting the fact that this season was sadly over, it was obvious guys started to focus more and more on the 2013 NFL draft. Did everyone forget about the inept GM that was responsible for putting this squad together? (That includes the hiring of major FAILED head coaches) I am still so confident that if Pioli is still the GM of the Chiefs, Matt Cassel will be retained next year (the final year of his multi-year multi million deal) And who to say if #7 was still in the roster, there's a chance he'll be given the opportunity AGAIN to compete for the starting QB job. And as usual, you know what kind of competition Pioli will bring into camp when it comes to Quarterback. Based on past Chiefs training camps, we know Pioli's loverboy #7 more so than not will come up on top (because he is never touched or rushed in practices) thus nothing rattles him.
Don't just forgive Pioli because we've accepted this season a LOST. It's not over until we have a new General Manager in charge. I'm not ever contend with how the Chiefs been until #7 is not the QB. And for that to happen, Scott Pioli must not be in charge of football operations.
