Andrew Weber-USA TODAY Sports

No Chiefs receiver played more than Jamar Newsome.

Some interesting snap counts for the Kansas City Chiefs loss to the Cleveland Browns last week.

If you don't read any of the rest of this, read this: Jamar Newsome is the Chiefs only hope. The former practice squad receiver led all Chiefs receivers in snaps last week. To the promised land we will follow Jamar Newsome.

Snap counts below...

Offense

Four offensive lineman and Brady Quinn played every snap.

Branden Albert came out of the game if you'll recall. He ended up playing in 61 percent of the snaps. Donald Stephenson replaced him the rest of the time.

Jamar Newsome led all Chiefs receivers with 33 snaps. Yeah, you read that right.

You know who else had 33 snaps? Jamaal Charles.

Chiefs receivers by snaps: Jamar Newsome (33), Terrance Copper (32), Dexter McCluster (32), Jon Baldwin (29)

Dwayne Bowe ended up playing eight snaps. In those he had 70 yards receiving.

Peyton Hillis had eight snaps, too.

Defense

Two Chiefs played every snap: Justin Houston and Eric Berry. First time we've ever seen that combination on the played-every-snap list.

Rookie free agent Tysyn Hartman played. A lot. He was in on all but three snaps, the highest outside of Houston and Berry.

Derrick Johnson, Tamba Hali and Brandon Flowers don't miss many snaps. DJ missed five plays, Hali missed eight and Flowers' 13.
