KC Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennel was asked earlier on Monday if Dwayne Bowe was a candidate for injured reserve with his rib injury. He indicated that he would wait to hear from the doctors before making that decision.

The decision is apparently in.

Per league source, Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe has multiple broken ribs and will be placed on IR.

The Chiefs season will be over in three weeks so his injury would've cost him at least that amount of time.

The Chiefs have yet to confirm the report but I imagine they will because it meshes with everything else we've heard.

Commence the "Has Bowe played his last down in KC?" questions.
