Why 30 years? I had to go back 27 years to find a top 10 pick on offense. 1986 OT @ #7.

There were two first round draft picks in 2008. One defense(#5-Dorsey), one offense(#15-Albert). Zero first round picks in 2004. The #30 that year was traded for a 2nd(Jr. Savii), a 4th(Samie Parker) & a 5th(?). Edit: Two 1st round picks in 1984 #5-Maas defense & #21-Alt.

There were two Carl Peterson first round trades for QBs over that time period. The #12 traded for Trent Green & a 5th rounder(Derrick Blaylock). The #18 for Joe Montana, safety David Whitmore & a 3rd rounder.
