John Rieger-US PRESSWIRE

Breaston's second healthy scratch this season.

The Kansas City Chiefs have released their inactives for Denver Broncos week and once again Steve Breaston is a healthy scratch. He will not play today. Receiver Jamar Newsome was pulled up from the practice squad on Saturday night, so he will play instead.

The rest of the Chiefs inactives: Ricky Stanzi, Devon Wylie, Tysyn Hartman, Cyrus Gray, Branden Albert and Jerrell Powe.

Albert is the other big name there. The Chiefs starting left tackle is out and will not play with a back injury. He should be replaced by Donald Stephenson, a rookie.

Not listed is Jon Asamoah and Ryan Lilja, who were both questionable entering the game. They'll play.

No other major surprises on the Chiefs inactive list.
