Intent, Robbery, and Afterglow

Stay connected for news and updates

Those that know would know that is a play on a Genesis song or two. Robbery, Assault, and Battery. Scott Pioli has been accused of all that The Dock wishes to know what the intent of this crime is? Many here in this court blame the defendant for crimes against Kansas City and our Chiefs.

What Crimes?

A bad Head Coach? Is it in the pervue of the defendant to make a Head Coach perform well? A bad QB? Many here think the GM is responsible for the play of the players chosen. I would argue, He has no control over that other than signing different players.

This GM is guilty of one thing. Poor performance of the hired help. I submit he has been successful in the primary job of running the team and acquiring talent to make the team succeed. He cannot Draft, Coach, and throw the damn Ball too.

So you in the jury have a problem with previously successful General Managers (point being Carl Peterson). Previously successful Head Coaches (Herm Edwards) and of Course previously successful QB's (Tyler Thigpen). To Build a Franchise from the ground up takes awhile.

I present that Scott Pioli has intent to create a winning Franchise he has not done Robbery on the good people of Kansas City and we all will feel the Afterglow ( time for a cigarette) when he finishes what he has started.

The only thing better is if it was our plan all along. I don't think any of us have the resume to have his job.

Go Chiefs
