Dear Romeo,
We, the undersigned fans of the Kansas City Chiefs, do hereby register our lack of content with the current situation at QB for the 2012 Kansas City Chiefs. While we recognize that you were given a relatively bare cupboard to work with at the quarterback position entering this year, there comes a time when you simply must recognize that something must change. Now is that time. While your decision to move from Cassel to Quinn was commendable, the offense lacked the sort of panache needed to really make anything of itself from that. Quite frankly, the QB has to be the leader, and the leader has to be someone who is unafraid of being who he is, criticism and second guessing be damned. I believe that man is Ricky Stanzi. I mean, from his adamant defense of 'Murica, to his being a grown man who allows himself to be called Ricky, to the fact that he unashamed to rock that haircut, Ricky Stanzi is his own man, and other men respect a man who is comfortable in his skin. Give us a leader, give us hope, or at the very least give us a glimpse of how woefully bad our roster is:
For Kansas City,
For the NFL,
For America:
Start Ricky Stanzi.
Sincerely,
The Kansas City Chiefs fan base.
