Here we have it the top 2 prospects at Quarterback are Geno Smith and Matt Barkley, Geno Smith is an athletic Quarterback that can scramble but also throw the ball with great accuracy plus he possess's the ability to throw the long ball. Against Big 12 play Geno has proven that he needs PLENTY of work before anyone can call him a legitimate starting Quarteback he's a 2-3 year project. Matt Barkley- Struggled more this year than he has last year, but also is the most NFL ready QB in this years class. Overall I see him be a successful quarterback comparable to a Alex Smith or Jay Cutler but more than likely won't become an elite QB. So why draft a QB with the first pick why not trade back? We could give the pick to Jacksonville,New York, or Buffalo and they would be more than willing to put something on the table! Buffalo could give us possibly a top 10 pick in the draft and we would be able get a second rounder out of the deal and maybe we could get a trade of Bowe for Stevie Johnson intertwined with that. We could do the same with the Jets but instead of Johnson or a 2nd rounder we could go after Darrel Revis. With our pick in the draft we would be able to still go after great talent in the defense adding a Sheldon Richardson or possibly even Manti Teo. Tyler Wilson the 3rd best Quarterback in the draft and A guy who I think who is very NFL ready he might not be as good as Geno but I definitely think he could come into the NFL as a rookie manage and find ways to win. Wilson is expected to go in the second round and if we don't think we are drafting someone with good elite Qb potential then, why not wait, trade for picks and build the team the right way? In this upcoming off-season the chiefs can pick up a veteran Qb so that Wilson can get time to develop as a player, and we can go from there. In my opinion it would be ignorant to not trade back and draft at D-Line with the strong Defensive Line class we have this year in the draft. What's you're opinion
