The Kansas City Chiefs have named Matt Cassel the starter for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

In what has become a seemingly weekly ritual for the Kansas City Chiefs, the team announced today that it has made a decision on who will start at quarterback against the Cincinnati Bengals: Matt Cassel.

And what about Brady Quinn and his concussion situation?

On Monday, Brady Quinn told reporters that he had been cleared to play against Cincinnati. On Tuesday, Romeo Crennel said the opposite.

Regardless of Quinn's medical situation, Cassel is the starter for Sunday's game. Second year quarterback Ricky Stanzi has not really entered the starter debate.

More coming on this later today.
