Over the weekend reports surfaced that the Kansas City Chiefs were placing Glenn Dorsey on injured reserve, which would end his season.

The Chiefs didn't say anything so I was wondering if there was still a chance Dorsey could remain on the active roster this season.

But that's not the case. The team finally confirmed the news and announced that Dorsey was going on IR. Safety Neiko Thorpe has been elevated from the practice squad to take his spot.

Recently signed Shaun Smith will make this news less depressing. Ropati Pitoitua will also see more snaps along the defensive line.

So we ask again: Is this the last we've seen of Dorsey in a Chiefs uniform?
