This is to be take lightheartedly... that being said...
Is it possible that a private organization like the NFL can control the outcome of games in an effort to increase revenues?
YES this is not to be taken to heart. BUT its fun to talk about.
Being a business student myself I can easily understand why any privately help business would want to increase their bottom line. Thats the whole point of business, higher profits. A few studies and a statistical analysis will show them which teams need to win to bring in the most money for the overal NFL brand. Using Tom Brady as the face, and highlighting the most profitable teams they can put more money in their pockets.
If they knew an area like Boston will bring in much more with a SB win than the KC area than they'd help them win, and so forth. Why help the small market teams when they make you the least money?
I really hope this gets people fired up.
