Watching Cassel's injury replays are a bit strange to me.

This isn't a post about cheering for a head injury. I think we can all agree that wishing for a head injury in a football game is pretty sick. Can we put that to rest finally? My issue is in watching the replay probably 20 times now, I'm shocked that Cassel suffered a concussion. At no point did he take a shot to the head on that play. His head didn't bounce off the turf, and Ngata hit him below the shoulders. Is it possible that Matt is faking an injury to try and save face? I'm not a conspiracy theory kind of guy normally, but the film doesn't lie.

Regardless, I hope Matt recovers quickly without long term TBI issues. I just wonder if this was RAC's/Pioloi's way of changing the guard without controversy. After all, if Matt has to sit because of injury, then Brady has to play, and the possibility of waffling between QBs is eliminated. Eh, who knows, but we see "mystery IR" additions all the time to manipulate the roster.

Again, this post has nothing to do with cheering for injuries, so please don't turn it into that. I just want to know if I'm the only one who thinks the injury appears on film to be a bit weird...
