As a part of Chiefs Nation, we have come to terms with the fact that enough is enough. We are tired of Scott Pioli, the Patriot Way, the Right 53, and the endless amounts of bull crap that has been shoved down our throats for the last couple years. @SaveOurChiefs on Twitter has a strong movement against Scott Pioli, but many of us are on board with this movement for many different reasons. The list would be endless, but I question you to think of your own three most important reasons why the Kansas City Chiefs
MUST part ways with Scott Pioli.
Scott Pioli! Just saying his name brings about a frustrating headache of disappointment and embarassment that maybe can only be matched with a vigorous blending of a hangover, a concussion, and getting caught streaking naked in a freezing, December ice storm. Most of us are smart enough to avoid all such nonesense, but Scott Pioli has brought about a world of hurt to the Kansas City Chiefs that is of historical porportions. Scott Pioli is the achilles heal of the Kansas City Chiefs. Sure we can blame Matt Cassel
for his inaccuracy in throwing interceptions and putting his receivers in a position to get hurt like Dexter McCluster
or Kevin Boss
; we could blame Jamaal Charles
, Dexter McCluster, Matt Cassel, Brady Quinn
, Peyton Hillis
, and so on for the lack of ball protection; and we could point the finger at the defense for not stopping the run or blowing coverage. We can play the blame game all day or for the next few months, but what everyone needs to realize if they haven't done so already is that Scott Pioli is the reason behind everything! He brought Matt Cassel here, he hired and fired Todd Haley who is now with a more successful Steelers
team, and he hired Grandpa Romeo who we all love as a person but we know he isn't the answer. Scott Pioli has very little standing room on his pedestal and no matter how weak or spineless you see Clark Hunt, he is going to have to fire Pioli. Firing Scott is the only way Clark Hunt can restore optimism and excitement in his fan base. Firing Scott is the only way to maintain respect for the Lamar Hunt legacy and the organization his father dedicated his life too. The firing of Scott Pioli is the only way Clark Hunt can respectfully take true ownership in his team, which proclaims to the NFL that the Chiefs cannot and will not accept this level of embarassment, poor play, or outright level of incompetence.
Now I question you...If you were to come face to face with Clark Hunt, what would be those three main reasons to request the termination of Scott Pioli? This is going to be great. By the way, I think Clark Hunt will officially fire Scott Pioli Friday morning after a disappointing loss to the San Diego Chargers
