Three keys for the Chiefs against the Chargers

Jamie Squire

It's really this easy.

KC Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennel told the players there were three things they needed to do against the San Diego Chargers on Thursday Night Football.

1. "If we don't get stupid penalties because those have hurt us."

2. "If we don't turn the ball over because turnovers have hurt us."

3. "If we don't let guys run free in the secondary and catch touchdown passes."

Yes, it's amazingly simple. But it's also true. What's unfortunate is that I'm fairly certain that the Chiefs will have a few dumb penalties, turn the ball over and allow the Chargers receivers to run free in the secondary.

What would really seal the deal for the Chiefs is if they score more points than the Chargers.
