Dear Matt Cassel,

Kansas City Chiefs fans want you to win. We really do not want to see you fail. We love our football team. We would LOVE it if you won us a Superbowl. And I personally think if you stop turning the ball over we could actually go on a winning streak. Who knows what could happen next? I am also a realist and it seems you do not have what it takes to be a successful NFL Quarterback. HOWEVER, everyone in Kansas City would love for you to prove all of us completely wrong!

We all hear that you are a hard worker, a great leader and a team-first kinda guy. The problem is, you seem to be satisfied with mediocrity. We can't figure out what other people see in you, because your physical abilities (i.e. arm strength and accuracy) seem to be average at best.

Mr. Cassel, you have a great story. You were a back-up at USC, and you got a chance to lead the 2008 New England Patriots to an 11-5 record. You came out of no where and became the guy in the background who got a chance to be the star. You weren't drafted high, nobody cared about you, and you should prove everyone wrong and kick some ass as an efficient NFL Quarterback. 2010 was a great year because you DID NOT TURN THE BALL OVER.

Turnovers and stupid decision making = LOSING

Protect the ball and spread the ball around = WINNING

If you succeed we will love you forever! And if you keep turning the ball over we won't shed a tear when we get rid of your sorry behind. Take it one game at a time. Lead your offense. Good luck! God speed! Go Chiefs!
