Yep, you heard right, trade the pick because we need some help AND there ain't no QB worthy of the #1 overall as of right now. There are a few players that merit the #1, and we could use them, BUT we need a QB! Whoever we hire-hopefully we do and it ain't Scotty makin the choice, we set our sites on a prospect or two who plays QB. And the only way to do that is to assemble extra picks from a team that draft's in the early part of round 1.

While I will not mention names of players who I think are worthy of the first pick at this time, there are 2 OT's-if one comes out early, a LB, WR and CB. Could we pull off something like the Vikings did and enhance our picks list while not falling all the way out of contention for a good prospect at QB. Because none of the big 3 that are being discussed are deserving the #1 overall in my mind.

Maybe what is more scary than trading out of the #1 spot is not even taking a QB in the first, IF we decide to go a different way. I know there is much football to be played and we may not be drafting the #1 overall, but if we continue this ineptness, it is a very good possibility that we do. What happens if there is nobody that wants to trade up with us and we get stuck with it? Decision time, in a big way. Sometimes you get what you want only to find out that you really don't want it! We couldn't get a deal done for the spots that we took Berry and TJax, and we still are trying to figure out what to do with them.

I am tired of trying to regenerate my mojo for this particular team and am wondering what the hell is next. I still don't see a silver lining, a magical turn around even with the first pick, new HC and GM. I want to believe that we have a core of good players but am skeptical from yesterdays play. Help me cause I think I'm fallin so far from the enthusiastic fan I used to be, to this disheartened effigy of what looks to get only worse as the season progresses. I am tired of getting screwed over by the Hunt Family and the team here. It almost looks as a deliberate destruction of the fan base so they can point to declining sales and move the team. So screw it, and screw you Clark and the team too. Right now if you want to move the team, do so with my blessing, maybe then we get ownership that cares about bringing in a winner!!!!!!
