Well here goes another post about what if? Inspiration? Optimism? That's right, no pictures or videos, just a pure speculative what if as it already happened this season to the team that last kicked our butt's. Remember the Tampa Bay Buccaneers? Come off their BYE and have won 2 straight. One against us and one against a pretty decent Vikings team. So----Why the Hell Not Us???
Here we are, coming out of our Bye, and going against our number 1 rival. Why not get the momentum going and start playing like a NFL football team should? If Tampa can do it then it's possible for it to happen? Right? Sure we have a few question marks with our roster that the Buc's do not, but so what! Most everyone is pleased that Matt Cassel is no longer the QB, and I suspect the players may feel the same. So if our coaching staff is really professional, and that is an unknown at this time, then we might actually see some Bye Week Adjustments that make some good things happen. That is the Optimism in this post.
So maybe with all the faults we think are present and abound within this team and organization, they somehow overcome all that bullshit and just play good football, something we all thought that they were capable of from the gitgo. Hopefully our new QB will pull a Cinderella and be the comeback player of the year. Maybe Eric Berry starts looking like his old self. Maybe-maybe-maybe, it's all the hope that we fans can fathom, trying not to give up on another season of ineptitude from the team we invest so much time and emotion in. So I say "FUCK ALL THE DUMBSHIT, SUIT UP AND PLAY FOOTBALL! AS A FAN i STILL GOT YOUR BACK BOYS." As much as I have been disappointed this year and years past, I still have hope's and dreams for this team. Hell some part of my very identity is wrapped around being a Chief's fan, so GO CHIEF'S!!!!!!!!
