Welcome my brethren fans, us die hard Chief's fanatics. We all know and understand that this team has to find a QB to have future success. The problem is whom we select to lead the franchise. So I thought I would ask you all, being we live all over the country and get exposed to different game packages. We have the big 3, the most hyped and obvious in Smith, Barkley and Wilson. I am sure these guys will be discussed plenty before the draft, but there are others who could come from out of nowhere to become the hot prospect come draft time.
We have had plentiful football so far and some guys are already on the radar for some of us. So if you have seen a guy who shows promise, open up the discussion and let us get a chance to look them up. Tell us why he came into your field of consideration of a NFL draft prospect that might be the guy we need in KC. If you have seen my comments the last month I have seen the senior QB from Baylor a couple of times, names Nick Florence, and I like him quite a bit. Maybe better than anyone else I have seen so far. He reminds me of Stafford who was the #1 pick up in Detroit a few years ago. Not the Stafford from that last year of college ball but the year before. This guy from Baylor was a transfer from Michigan, a golden arm award winner and backed up RG3. He is also a team guy, with great leadership abilities and literally carries the Baylor team on his shoulders. A live arm with accuracy, hits guys in stride and tight windows. He also is learning fast his first season as the starter and you can see this week to week. Not very much talk about him in the media as his team loses often, but not because of the QB. The physical tools seem to be readily apparent, just lacks experience. So what? We are giving Cassel a boatload of experience and he doesn't even have a live arm!
Have you got you eye on someone who could maybe help this franchise? If so give us a heads up so we can take a closer look and maybe we will see what you do. We need a QB and we need to find one, so maybe you will be the guy who spots one for us. It doesn't have to be a first round projection, just a guy who can play- the teams will figure out who goes where in the draft anyhow. Go Chiefs!
